Let's Talk
(about sex)

Graduation project

A confession booth made to initiate the conversation about sex and sensuality. For people who don’t talk about sex and intimacy often, but maybe would actually like to.

So we may eventually break the taboo surrounding this topic.

As more individuals of all walks of life have the courage to be open for real discussions about sex and intimacy, the more the forces against doing so, will become obsolete.

And that is a revolution we should all be part of.

A space for Pleasure Society, where you can join the conversation, will take place at a festival. A place made for new experiences and insights.

The honest conversations
Photography/interview project

Creating a safe space for people to talk, by actually starting the conversation.

Discussing all things sexuality, sensuality, identity and so on.

Allowing yourself to be vulnerable, but feeling empowered.

Everybody deserves to feel heard and understood,

I’m thankful for the people willing to participate in this, helping me to bring my message into the world, one conversation at a time.

Closer to a
good day.

Fictional PostNL concept

A concept made for PostNL, the Dutch postal services. The concept is made during the Covid-19 lockdowns and is focussed on the collective loneliness that was felt at the time.

Struggling to connect with each other in a valuable way, this concept re-introduces the long lost love of handwritten letters. Connecting strangers through PostNL penpal services. Connecting with strangers and also opening your heart to the reality and toughness of everyday life.

Case study
App design

Concept for Pleasure Society

The Pleasure Society is an upcoming platform for curating anything sexual. During my case study I looked for a way to elevate the company from sensored platforms like Instagram.

Designing their own app where you would enter a true safe space to get curious, gain insight, inspiration and could connect with others in the community.

Trend-forecast / autobiographic work

A trend forecast reflecting on the uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic:

We can’t deny the fact that we live through an odd and confusing time right now. The days feel monotonous and slowly pass by. Somehow it feels like time is fading away from us at the same time.

Searching for some sort of an explanation, we watch the news or spend hours on the internet, hoping to find answers or maybe a small sparkle of hope. Eventually leaving us with a feeling of dissatisfaction and emptiness.
